Quick sort and Sorting lists

Our Sorting app has gotten a big upgrade! Based on your feedback we have replaced the "Manual sort" section with two new additions:

Quick Sort:

Quickly setting up individual animals to sort has never been easier. Simply type in the animal number and hit "Enter". The animals will be sorted the next time they walk through the sort gate.

Animals sorted via Quick sort are grouped on the schedule page based on their sort time. Animals that are sorted closely together will be grouped in one block. If there is more than 3 hours until a next quick sort, a new block will be created.

NOTE: Animals sorted via quick sort always have priority. If an animal is also on a sort list or matches a sorting rule, she will be sorted to the area specified in the quick sort menu.

Sort lists

If you need more advanced options, use a sort list! Sort lists can be used to:

• Schedule animals at a later time

• Schedule animals to sort multiple times in a timeframe

• Import a list of animals to sort from your herd management software

Here, you have all the flexibility you need to sort your animals exactly when you want

New Milking insights in custom worklists

We’re happy to introduce two powerful additions to the "My worklists" section of the Worklist app, for companies with a milking integration.

First, we’ve added a new column: Last milking. This shows the start time of the last milking, making it easy to create your own fetch lists for the robot. For example, you can filter for cows that haven’t been milked in the past 12 hours. If you also have the Cow locating product, you can quickly view these cows on the map using the View on map button and fetch them for milking.

Second, we’ve made the Milking graph available directly within custom worklists.
